Youth and Showcase Travel Teams
Travel Baseball and Softball
Team Boston Baseball will provide all of our players with the best venue to further their baseball interests and ultimately reach their goals of playing high school or college baseball or softball. We are dedicated to not only the game development of our players but also the personal development and growth of all of the young athletes in our program.
Our leadership recognized the need for softball skills development, as well as teaching mental aspects of the game. In its fifth year as a program, the Team Boston Softball approach is to develop the whole player. We give athletes the information that they need to train, perform and succeed in the game of softball and life!
Youth Travel Baseball
Team Boston’s Youth Travel baseball includes age groups ranging from 9 years up to 12 years old. Most often, these teams are made up of all of the same age group. Our younger travel teams play April – May with 2 to 3 practices per week and 1 to 5 games over the weekend.
The focus for 13 and 14 U Travel Baseball is strictly on development. Knowing high school baseball is only a year or two away, the goal is to provide our players with the skills necessary to play on the larger diamond. As young athletes in the early stages of physical growth, players learn to adjust to a new scale of play.
Travel Softball
To be successful in softball, players must do a lot of practice, maintain focus and learn continuously. It is about maintaining the right attitude about the coach, team members and losses. Though the qualities of a player may depend on the position you play in the team, there are core qualities that every player must depict to help win the game.
Softball is a progressive game that sees new skills and styles pop up from time to time. Team Boston Softball is seeking players who are team oriented, focused on improving their individual skills, and cherish the game of Softball.
